Miffypiffy
So, are there others out there sitting on a big cardboard box full of Star Wars vintage figures and spaceships from the eighties? I was recently considering selling them, after rediscovering said Box under a pile of old clothes in a dungeon. (That Box was easily forgotten due to the infamous Jar-Jar Stinks incident, -that led to a total SW brain-meltdown). Coincidentally soon after this consideration of selling my Box-of-Treasures, The franchice SW was reawaken by Disney. And my now matured brain started thinking. It would be sad to sell now, if all of the sudden the next SW-Movies turn out to be a renaissance to the whole franchise. What'd You all think? May the Glory Years of SW-figure collecting reappear? Could hoarding vintage Kenner figures be a interesting idea, up towards the oncoming Movies? (Crossing fingers that JJ Abrams doesn't F up the whole thing, i.e. )
errant_knight
Anything that's valuable now will be more valuable in 5 to 10 years, so hold onto those things if you aren't needing to get rid of them. For one thing, it doesn't sound like you really want to sell
Miffypiffy
True that I am a little torn regarding selling the stuff, but I'd rather sell off stuff, than hoarding items I no longer use/have a need for. I guess I'll hold on to it, until I see how the new movie(s) turn out. As You say, the prices will propably not drop.
