Planet leveling.

Planet leveling makes no sense. It's not like the NPCs are going to complain to the developers and if they are worried about PvP duels then couldn't they just Planet level during the duel?

I presume you are talking about "Level Sync", where your effective level is trimmed down to a max depending on which planet, space station, mined-out asteroid or whatever you are on.

And open-world PvP *fights* (duels are another thing altogether) are almost exactly nothing to do with what it's for. Level Sync is a slightly cheesy way to allow the studio to reuse existing content - if you can get gear somewhere near your level and some XP and so on from going to an old levelling planet, there's an incentive outside of nostalgia to doing so. Level Sync makes that possible.
