BlazingShadow Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 I'm not asking if crafted gear by itself is equal, but is there any crafted gear that utilizes raid components that is equal to the top raid gear? I would much rather wear gear that I crafted by hand, modified by hand than some generic raid suit that everyone and their mother will have by the month's end, so I would be very happy if there really is competitive crafted gear, even if it requires raid components. Jexnell Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 You can use crafted open slot armor all the way thru endgame. Raids will drop mods that will make them = to raid gear. Only thing I can see you losing is if they put set bonuses on raid gear. I myself will be using modded gear cause SI raid gear is just horrid looking imo.
