Recommended Posts

Hi team! I wanted to drop a thread here to introduce our podcast, give you some background, and announce new episodes.

@AIESema and I (@MaxTheGrey) play on Jedi Covenant, both Imperial and Republic, as part of the Alea Iacta Est gaming community. Inspired by our favorite SWTOR podcasts, we've started a weekly cast to lightly cover the latest news and mostly focus on a rotating segment covering some aspect of the game.

You'll be able to find new episodes and a show summary every Tuesday at NewOverlords.com

SWTOR Escape Pod Cast 17 – Reputation

This week @AIESema, @MaxTheGrey and Astromech EPC-17 bring you news about Life Day and the Return of the Gree. We also offer up some quick tips for the week on Galactic Starfighter (like how to re-order your ships and why you shouldn't focus on kills) and we crack open a holocron on the basics of the reputation system.

Oh... and laying ceramic floors on ice planets is a tough job because it's difficult working in a Hoth-tile environment. (We fully apologize for the quality of these jokes. We'll see to it that the writer is promptly sacked.)

The reputation tools and links referenced in the podcast include:

The maximum weekly turn-in chart: http://www.newoverlords.com/calculate/swtor-rep-maximizer/

The cumulative rep tracking spreadsheet: http://www.newoverlords.com/calculate/swtor-reputation-calculator/

And… Life Day is pretty much just like the Rakghoul Pandemic but with snowballs exploding in your face for prizes instead of other players exploding in your face. Oh, and a bit less vomiting.
