Midnightxrdm Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 Hello All, I am getting this horrible stutter when I turn on the option "Scale Nameplates with Distance". Nameplates in general seems to drop my fps quite a bit (30-40) and makes the game unplayable. I absolutely love this game and want to continue to play but I can't stand the amount of stutter... I am running; i7-4790 - 1080 GTX - 16 gig DDR3 - SSD Things I tried so far; - Download and install directx 9 - Updated all drivers - Updated Windows - Re-installed the game - Tried "Window Fullscreen" and "Full screen" - Nvidia control panel GPU settings for max performance I suspect it has to do with the way UI for Nameplates but I've seen other peoples stream's where they don't have this weird stutter with nameplates on. tummiswtor Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 I got very smilar PC to Yours, just "K" procesor and TI GPU and no matter if i have ultra or lowest settings with turned off Nameplates, still PvP and OPS stutter or have huge fps drops. The Hero engine just cannot handle bunched up players, nametags or chat bubbles and it is the underlying reason for many of these problems.
