So how would you rank Cal Kestis?

He is the protagonist of jedi fallen order and how would you rank him compared to the other jedi of the new canon?

I am not sure where to put him he is not very powerful in the force but he uses what he has very well and in quite creative ways so its hard to place him in rank.

Where would you all rank him?

And many inquisitors are former jedi knights and one an jedi master. And yet these 2 beat inquisitors. Man most jedi are not powerful.

It goes to the canon trope of Dark Side being ultimately detrimental to its wielders. The whole "staying true to the light wins everytime."

The interesting thing with Fallen Order is that it's a AAA plot where being neither is seen as the sane path. I hope for DLC and continued stories with Kal, Mirren, & Greez (Cere is kind of a Debby Downer.)

The inquisitors specifically are kneecapped by Vader and Palpatine so that they can never be powerful enough to threaten them. And so it's easier to dispose of them when they screw up or loose their utility.

As for the Jedi Order as a whole, their overall power has also been severely curtailed by their isolation and refusal to do their job. Darksiders and Lightsiders both strengthen their connection to their side of the Force by making choices and doing acts that align with said side, IE a Sith growing more powerful with every atrocity they commit and a Jedi doing the same with acts of kindness. This does make it slightly more difficult for Lightsiders since the Force can easily detect sincerity (or lack thereof), so a Jedi doing a good act for the purpose of increasing his power won't have the same effect as a Sith doing the same with evil (as doing something messed up to increase your power is a genuinely evil act by itself).

The Jedi of the Rise of the Empire era are nowhere near as powerful as Lucas would have you believe ("Jedi in his prime fighting in the prime of the Jedi), I would actually give that distinction to the Force sensitives of THIS era, ToR's Great Wars era. Both sides have been extremely tempered by the near constant warfare going on.

What about the jedi during exar kun,Revan, sith time? There decades between them and well there was an war between the wars they did so constant conflict also. Would they not be even more tempered by even more near constant warfare?

Consider that the current running conflict beginning with the reemergance of Vitiate's reborn empire has been going on for almost half a century by this point; the first Great Galactic war lasted 28 years until the Treaty of Coruscant, the Cold War for 10, then the game proper begins and has lasted around 15ish more into the Second Great War and the Zakuul wars.

The Great Sith War lasted only a single year, the Mandalorian Wars for 16 (after 20 years of relative peace) followed by the Jedi Civil War (3 years) and Dark Wars (5 years), all interspersed with eras of stability. Each is distinct enough in scope and time frame to have different enemy factions and motivations behind them, but the Great Wars have been going almost non-stop for 55 some ish years.

You might have an point and its an long conflict and it creates strong warriors and kills the weak or who can not make it. But the clone wars jedi are an close second as they do have the knowledge of their predecessor added to theirs. While the average jedi are weaker then the average of the game but the strong are stronger then most of the game jedi.
