Better idea, bring back Freighter Flyby/Orbital Strike and just make it a insta-cast ability.

I am playing Viru sniper and Corrosive dart spreading works just fin with the Corrosive nade, dunno...

toxic haze is great just because of the rather large area it covers.
the knives where cool but they're conal and not very reliable and corrosive grenade has a pretty small range. i'd take haze any day over those two.

Toxic Haze has a ton of uses, it's an amazing skill. It's not actually a part of your rotation, so I don't see what's your problem. If you have too many buttons to press you can just leave rifle shot on the bars.

Sniper is a ranged class. Operative is melee. There's no way that BioWare would allow a melee class to DOT spread at 30 metres, like snipers can. If they were to move lethality's DOT spread to corrosive grenade, then the range of corrosive grenade would be reduced to 10 metres or something like that. Your suggestions would mess up a lot of things that are currently fine, just the way that they are.

As other people have told you, toxic haze is not part of the single-target rotation. You are suffering from learn-to-play related issues.

To add to this, Toxic Haze actually has some pretty big benefits over corrosive grenade as a dot spread. Sure grenade has a 30m range, is used in the single target and has no cooldown. However Toxic Haze's radius is quite impressive. With an 8m radius versus grenade's 5m radius, and the fact that it is positioned on the player rather than on the target, it is much easier to spread with. There's a ton of fights where Virulence snipers can't spread with grenade, but lethality operatives can spread with Toxic Haze.
