Frakthefriendly
"The force is an energy field created by all living things, it surrounds us, it penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together" - Obi-Wan to Luke So, the force is all around us and "penetrates" us all the time. So why say, may the force be with you. Seems redundant. Edited December 16, 2011 by Frakthefriendly
Eshaye
Let's not even try to understand the force, it's invented by Lucas and it's bound to make no sense whatsoever. Just accept it. It's the 'magic' solve all problems thing. A Jedi did it. And maybe they just mean that if the force favors someone they'll be safer. Even though it's everywhere some people are more tuned into it then others. I'm not even going to aknowledge the metachlorians or whatever they're called... TheHauntingBard
As mystical as it might sound there hangs an aura of wrongness around it when you think of the a mind that made movies like: Howard the duck, SW x-mas special and came up with brilliant creatures/characters like Cannibalistic teddy bears that take on troops and Jar Jar. cjohnk
may the force be with you. And also with you. (Damn Catholic upbringing!)
