Ok guys..just wondering.. i just made my 3rd guardian..On same server..just wondering if im the only crazy player who plays multiple same class alts lol

I have a Guardian and a Juggernaut, a Shadow and a Sin, a Sniper and a Gunslinger, a Vanguard and a Powertech, so, no your not 100% crazy, but 3 Guardians? Why?

I have double alts on a Warrior, Inquisitor, Smuggler and IA. For all these classes, I wanted to see Good and Evil, Male and Female, and the two different AC. With a SW you are really forced to play twice because of the dumb Jaesa achievement. Thanks Heavens she is not romanceable as an LS or one would have had to have 3 runs to see all the content. I have 22 characters and several alts of the same class. For example, I have 3 Juggernauts (2 male, 1 female) + 1 Marauder, 2 Operatives + 1 Sniper,, 2 Assassins, 2 Sorcs, 2 Powertechs + 1 Merc, etc.

As i don't like playing Republic, I only have 1 character of each AC there.

 

In total, I have leveled at least 4 Juggernauts to 55 (and deleted them as I am rarely satisfied with a character and change my mind far too often).

Some time in the far future, once I lvl all my guys, I'll have a different AC for each base equivalent (e.g. Guardian and Marauder, Sniper and Scoundrel), except I'll have a PT and Merc, and a Sorc and Sin.

 

Double Inquisitor is because I Sorc is my main, and I wanted to lvl a tank fast. Double BH is cos I chose Merc without realising I had a Commando...

I have three Lv 55 sages. To put a cherry on top, i have a fourth sage at Lv 17. I just love the class and therefor i'm able to play a sage in the raids i do with my guild, despite having a lockout on my main due to running random raids as well.

2 sins and a shadow (darkness/kinetic combat)

2 sents and a marauder (combat/carnage)

Sage and Sorc (seer/corruption)

 

But my worst "offense" by far is the Guardian/Jugg. 2 Guardians and 3 Juggs. The guardian isn't so bad; one's male defense spec, the other female vigilance. However all three Juggs not only are all immortal spec, but they are all male Sith purebloods with the same character slider numbers (body/head/eyes/hair/scars). I guess I'm pretty particular with how I want my Juggs to look.

 

None of the duplicates or their mirror are on the same server though, If I rolled a Jugg on a server then I wanted the Knight to be a sentinel, etc. There was a lot of re-rolling going on around mid 2012 when there were too many servers and the populations were spread out, so I ended up having toons on 5 servers. 3 of the servers I barely log into anymore.

I have two Sages (both 55), two Shadows (both 55), a Sorcerer (55), an Assassin (55) and a Consular (30-no AC).

 

I also have two Scoundrels (both 55), and an Operative (55). I also have two Marauders (55 and 51), two Commandos (55 and 40), two Vanguards (55 and 35). As well as one of every other named AC at 55 (so basically two of each class). However, I am a severe altoholic.

Three sages and three sorcs (not all on the same server). Working on a fourth sage, mostly because I wanted a fat male sage. I don't have copies of the other classes but I have the mirrors, operative/scoundrel, merc/commando etc.

 

I really hate leveling but I do it anyway so that I'm able to run the same content several times per week with my fav class.

I have two Operatives, one Sniper, two Scoundrels, and I just started a Gunslinger. Plus one Imperial Agent I'm not sure what to do with yet.

Simple reasons really. Double comms.

 

2 operatives.

Same build

Legacy gear everything and mail it back and forth.

 

I run TC SM the HM. If no new ops scheduled I'll swap toons and run TC SM and HM again.

Double weekly and comms.

 

Quicker to gear up and the. Min/max that set.

 

Works for PvP as well. Max one out and swap toons.

 

22 characters and at least 2 if not more of each class. Originally I started out jugg Mara, OP snipe, sin Sorc. But have since doubled on th AC on the mains. Everyone is always looking for a healer. These are min/maxed and using thm to buy up and min/max my jugg and powertech tank toons. So I can hit the ground running later as needed.

 

Though no one wants my tanks. They rather keep me heals. LoL must be doing something right as a boring Op healer.

 

 

On Shadowlands they know me as Vette and Elara.

First i have to admit, i really like leveling, for me it is relaxing, so i always have at least one character below 50 for the times i have not a lot of free time or when i just want to play a little for me alone. I have fun replaying class stories, trying out diffent answers and noticing the little differences if i do this or that, if i am this or that.

And I usually have a certain image of my characters, what they do, how they look and behave and so on, usually these things are also connected to the spec they use and it sort of feels wrong to change the spec, as the toon becomes someone else for me then in a weird way.

 

So far i have 3 assassins, 2 operatives, these 5 are the most active characters. Then there are a sniper, 2 juggernauts and a shadow with medium activity, there are times when they provide fun and then there are times when they just sleep on their ship for weeks or months. Some of other classes too, but those are mainly there to see the (other) class stories and not really played after that is done. And yes, i even delete Level 50 or 55 characters to start the same one anew, just for the fun of leveling, because the endgame often isn't as much fun with that particular class. Changing the server also brought replays as i didn't want to pay money for characters i just could reroll on the new server in a adequate time.

 

Sometimes i replay the same class with the opposite gender or alignment, to see how the story is different. The agent story i replayed several times to see it dark, light and neutral, male and female for example. Others are toons i liked for a long time, but one day i suddenly don't like the voice/gender or look any longer. My Zabrak sorc is still 50 and reduced to crafting just because i can't stand the female voice anymore, well and the range caster playstyle, after i leveled a sin . One of the newer agents was a chiss, just to see how being an alien affects the story and what the part on hoth is like as a chiss. Well, that and the image of an armor that fitted just perfectly to my thinking of a chiss and not to the agent i already had.

 

With those classes i find really fun to play, i also reroll a new toon of the same class to learn a second or third skilltree specialisation, as in addition to my strong mindset how a toon is and what it does, for me it is really hard to just switch the spec at max level with no knowledge about it at all, only reading a guide and practise it at the training dummy doesn't work well for me.

It's just too much new stuff to think about at once, i would probably adopt some bad habits, being overwhelmed at first and it is hard to get rid of them later. It is much more fun too, to replay the story instead of practising for hours at the dummy or try and error in endgame group content, until i learn what to do.

 

While leveling i get the abilities one after the other and can try them out, find ways to use them in many different situations for myself, without bothering others in endgame groupcontent. I can try out stuff, learn a bunch of the do and don'ts and how to act in certain situations step by step, learn what to watch out for like procs or getting used to uptimes of buffs, debuffs and dots, before i have to think about proper rotations und the other endgame specific stuff.

Not even talking about things like the need to stand near and behind an enemy suddenly (deception), after being used to stand where i want as the enemys come to me or sometimes even a small distance away (darkness and madness). Loosing the inner need to heal peolpe while playing DPS instead of healing, is another thing i had to train for I can switch of the need if i play my dps leveled toon, but not if i only respec my healer, strange, but that is my situation.

I liked the warrior story line, I think it's the best one in the game. Also I enjoyed the gameplay of the knight/warrior class.

nope, I have 2 jugs and 1 guardian.

I definitely have an alt problem; my sig is running out of room faster than a garbage masher!

I continue to fight off the desire to create another Consular. I really want to play the Class story again without worrying about the companion achievements and doing it solo so that I can hog all the dialogues for myself!

i have one of each advanced class plus an addition shadow and marauder. i enjoy lowbie pvp far more then 55 pvp cause its a little more skill based instead of "i have better gear" based. that and its easier to literally put an entire team on you back while you carry them to victory

You think that's crazy...I basically play the same one character.

 

I basically look at this game like I do Mass Effect or Dragon Age...so when I feel like playing through the story again, I just reroll my Jedi Guardian again and play through the story from scratch. Just started my third playthrough yesterday.

55 Vanguard (M LS) + 1 lvl 43 Commando (F DS)

55 Scoundrel (M LS), 55 Slinger (M LS) + lvl 41 Slinger (F DS)

55 Guardian (M LS) + 1 lvl 41 Sent (F LS)

55 Sage (F LS), 55 Shadow (M LS).

 

That's all the romance options covered, LS and DS of each story line, and the only thing I've not got covered is a miraluka, Mirialan and zabrak of both sexes (not that species matters apart from a couple of npc conversations) - I'd nip to the appearance designer but I've already worked out back story for all but 3 chars. It's also been a great way to get achievements done, apart from a coupla little things I've maxed out everythin before quesh

 

I've gone Empire heavy as it's easier to get planet comms early on (the DK heroics = 15 comms for about half an hour and are great for grindin out companion kills for achievements once you're able to solo them) and because I've found it hard to go DS on the Republic side.

Your not, i got 3 Sith Sorcs and 1 Sage. Got 2 Jugg and use to have 3 Marauder lol deleted 2 made 1 Sent. and made that sage instead.

 

Im not even sure im done doing Sorcs lol Im planning to make a "twink" that i will use on low lvl only.
