One of my bounty hunters just bought the Holo Slot Machine from the event vendor... It says it's bound to legacy, but will not let me place it in legacy storage. Any idea why?

There is a refund timer on those items. To send it to another char you need to wait for those 2 hours or send it by mail (which will finish the refund timer). Edited June 16, 2017 by Mubrak

And unlike the bind timer for cartel market items, the refund timer does not count down while you are logged off of that character, so that means 2 hours of being logged in, not just 2 hours real world time.

I think that the refund timer on a BTL item should not prevent you from placing it in leggy storage! This has got to be the dumbest thing I have seen in game so far. It smells like nothing more than pure laziness!

The refund timer is there for a reason so folks can have a small time frame to change their mind and to prevent folks from making tickets when they bought the wrong item.

 

There's been a few times that I was glad for the refund timer on items I have bought.

Best thing to do is mail it to another toon and then put it in the storage
