Vengeance vs Powertech

The mistake most vengeance juggs will make is ravaging after leaping. That works 7/10 times, but not on pyro PTs. You need to use your first stun immunity to get your snare, overhead slash and shatter off. Then he will stun and create distance, then you force scream, push, ravage. If he uses shield you will need to recast snare.

Like I said, this fight isn't really close w/ saber ward but without it you need to play perfectly.

thank you your experiences are for me very useful

So Vengeance have compatible and consistent dmg of all time ..

pyrotech have only burst dmg over 2 minutes ? understand i good ?

They have really really really good burst damage with a 2 minute cooldown, otherwise their damage is mediocre (about as good as vengeance).

No, in a 1v1 the advantage goes to a pyrotech. Explosive fuel is virtual crit guarantee on every ability fired in 15 seconds. The amount of damage they can do in this period is insane and it bypasses all the armor of vengeance. Also they have 2 hard stuns where as the vengeance jug has no hard stuns.

Now an immortal / vengeance hybrid vs a powertech is a different story. This spec has stupid high survivability and can survive the pyrotechs burst.

No, recklessness is virtual crit guaranteed, and that's more than twice the bonus of expl fuel. Expl fuel is just a nice move that increases overall dps withing the period by a lot. Vengeance has choke as a hard stun (Chhanaled D:), and there's a 1.5sec - 2 sec knockdown (stun) connected to push.

Oh it's just a "nice" bonus ... rotfl. With the extra crit added to tech and flame from the pyrotech and AP tree and the 15% railshot crit set bonus coupled with a decent base crit chance and its virtual guaranteed crit. Don't even bother compariing recklessness to explosive fuel. Explosive fuel ***** all over recklessness and the damage bonus it gives is massive.

Did you just call Force Push and Force Choke "Not hard stuns" brosepth?

.......... Why would you include choke or push as a hard stun? Can you do anything to the player other than choke? No, not unless your tank specced. Push rotfl.. all you can do to a pushed target is saberthrow and then leap back to them. If they are a warrior you can't even do that. Push is used to reset leap and pick up 20% dr, cc immunity and a small damage boost or break a hard hitting channeled ability. The warrior class doesn't get proper hard stuns because they have all those defensive cooldowns. On the other hand Powertech gets Electro dart and carbonize. Both of which are proper hard stuns. You cast them and you can do whatever the hell you like to them. Railshot, flameburst, whatever. Edited by JackNader

From my experience, if I have Saber Ward up, I will usually win hands down. If not I die with him probably standing around 1/4 to 1/2 health.

The only way to win as a PT VS a VIgilance Guardian that has everything available up to use, is to kite through Saber Ward as best as possible (possibly throwing your stun to put some distance since you'll be slowed) and then coming down hard with all you got. Pop your defense CD through Master Strke (basically right after he jumps you). It should last long enough to take in an Overhead Slash and a crit Blade Storm, even possibly a Plasma Brand if he chains all 3.

Any stun you use after a jump is a wasted one also. It's just crazy how godly that 4s immunity is against bad players.

If you're not Pyro, it's harder still.

Force Push does quite a bit of damage, and Electrodart does Zero damage...

Do you really think Push is only good for Saber Throw and Force Leap? You can't see any other value in Force Push?
