I'm running out of key binds and trying to figure out what abilities I shouldn't really be using as Assault Spec. Should I still be using Explosive Round? Charged Bolt? Are there any abilities I should just remove from my bar?

Explosive round can be useful in the execute phase with the hyper assault rounds passive. Charged bolts is a necessary part of the rotation so you definitely want to keep that lol.
