Since KOTOR garb has been added into SWTOR over the years, how about adding in this simple yet elegant lightsaber hilt.

I have some suggestions though...

 

1) Do not place the player character's hands at the very bottom of the hilt, they should be positioned like this: https://i.imgur.com/ifvuovH.jpg

 

Don't go crazy with the hilt's length. It should only be long enough to poke out a little at the top and a little at the bottom of a two-handed grip.

 

2) Use the default (thick) lightsaber blade with the classic ignition sound (jedi knight's first lightsaber). If people are wanting a slimmer blade, then perhaps you should look into an idea I had about that: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=957596

I want this so much.

In all honesty, this lightsaber should have been in the game since day one. After all, it is the same hilt model that players wield in both KOTOR games.

 

I would definitely purchase this if it appears on the CM, but only if you follow BlueArbiter's suggestions to the letter. Too many bottom-held, toothpick-bladed lightsabers on there as it is.

I'd be interested in this, unless they make it a Platinum item that costs like $50.

 

And let's be honest - if they put the KOTOR saber in the game, that would be more likely than not.

It would be awesome of this had been the starting model for the JK/JC but I'd love to see it added now.
