I guess it doesn't matter since my BH is interested in Lana (Mako seemed more like a little sister), but was curious if she ever returns. I looked through past threads and didn't find any info on Mako. You should be getting a special quest around this point. It's exclusive to Smugglers and Bounty Hunters, and Mako and Akaavi return.
