Vigilark
I have two war supply kits: infantry supplies recipes showing up in my "book". Why is this? glitch? if so, anyway to get rid of it/unlearn recipes?
Chryptyk
There's several of them. Each uses a different level of components to make.

psandak
The two that are in my book use same components. Because they used to use different materials. before 4.0 and the introduction of "components" everything required different materials. All the gathering skills used to have common and rare materials. And the war supplies used to use a combination of common and rare materials. With 4.0 ALL the rare materials were removed and components replaced base materials in schematics. Instead of removing the duplicate schematics and risking removal of all schematics for a given grade of materials they applied the components recipe to all war supplies of that grade and left the duplicate schematics in place. It can be annoying but it is what it is. And no there is no way to unlearn a schematic.
TheGreyRanger
Actually there is a way, but it's a pain. You can drop your skill reacquire it and level it back up. So not worth it.

That is an especially bad idea if you have schematics that are not from the trainer, because if you unlearn a skill you unlearn EVERYTHING (from a realism POV that makes no sense, but from a game mechanics POV it is common practice and some would say necessary)
SteveTheCynic
That is an especially bad idea if you have schematics that are not from the trainer, because if you unlearn a skill you unlearn EVERYTHING (from a realism POV that makes no sense, but from a game mechanics POV it is common practice and some would say necessary) It doesn't happen in GW2. If you deactivate a crafting skill, it kind of goes on the back burner, frozen, and you can reactivate it later and resume advancing it. Costs gold/silver/copper (credits) to activate, based on its existing level.
Storm-Cutter
Proofreading and quality control are unknown at BioWare. However, string, rubber bands, and Gaffa tape are in daily use to patch up stuff. Not sure why they even put the components step into crafting recipes. - seems to be unnecessarily complex. TBH. Firstly, you can level a crafting skill by crafting nothing but components. Secondly, Components are always 2/2/2 where before components, greens were a mix of 2 to 8 of each gathering skill material (not to mention that there were common and rare gathering materials).
