Magdala
Does the companion affection mean anything at all? Should I care or bother to upgrade this?
TyHeaton
Does the companion affection mean anything at all? Should I care or bother to upgrade this? Higher affections makes crafting/gathering faster and more successful. It also opens up companion-specific quests.
kalosonn
so do i have to get a companion to full affection before i can do there quests?
Fardreamer
so do i have to get a companion to full affection before i can do there quests? It comes in stages. Every act, you companion has a few quests and conversations you unlock by raising your affection. You don't need FULL affection, but you need it to be high enough to unlock the next quest. Clova
Nope. There are milestones that when hit, trigger a catina / ship convo. Forgot what they were though.
lokivoid
Does the companion affection mean anything at all? Should I care or bother to upgrade this? It aids in crafting time and success rate to a vary minor extent (no effect on critical success). So no it has no effect on the game what so ever (considering every crafting profession other than biochem is garbage)
Clova
No effect on END game, but i find my RE'd armors very helpful while leveling for both me and my companion. Dont let the debbie downers get you down.
