wee-man
Hi Guys I am going to start a youtube channel which goes through walkthroughs of each class all the way to end game. I have few questions as to rules on what i can cant do... 1. what sounds / music if any can i have i have already encountered 1 which i cant have which is the orcestra of the rolling credits when you start a new toon. 2. Monetisation , what rules are there to this with swtor ? 3. Visual limitations ? Obviously youtube states that if my videos are of a tutorial (Teaching) based then i can upload freely within reason (Removing them tunes of films etc.) Let me know if anyone out there has done this and can help me out with tips Much appreciated. Glad you asked! I have tons of experience with this subject and all of your questions! 1. what sounds / music if any can i have i have already encountered 1 which i cant have which is the orcestra of the rolling credits when you start a new toon. Alright so I think your trying to ask about copyright claims, as mentioned Star Wars Theme Song By John Williams is copyright, you will have to mute it and either place a CC theme song, or just leave it silent. This is the only thing so far that I have had trouble with. There is however, some music in warzones and it PVE that is copyrighted, this however is a bit rare, just listin to it and if you hear somthing that you heard in a movie or somthing DO NOT expect that it wont have copyright. 2. Monetisation , what rules are there to this with swtor? No, there is not to much to worry about, because (I am pretty sure) you have a limited license to anything you do in the game, so for example you can monatise game play as it is not copyrighted, however if you go into a cut scene with music and animations other then the regular conversations, it is owned by bioware and may not be something you can monatise. Nothing to much to worry about, I suggest googling limited licenses for more info. 3. Visual limitations ? None other then what I mentioned in the past reply. So this is all I have for you dude! I have been through everything and this should help you! Don't expect to grow to fast though, it takes a little bit of time. But keep at it and you will be there! If you have anymore questions please ask!
wee-man
Hey Thanks for the reply, really useful. Ive actually managed to resolve the soundtrack issue by just putting the music volume in sound options down to 0 Ive manage to make 7 parts to my trooper walkthrough as of yet reaching level 10 in my last one and going commando (Not literally ) Haha Would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to subscribe and give me some tips on how to improve Thanks again (Btw i have subscribed to your channel as it has some pvp stuff i am going to look into since i am an expert in that department solely pve in the past) JayC
generalstonestar
No need to mute music, if you are using an editor simply lower the valume of that portion or use YouTube's lil mute audio thingy. And I will stop by your channel! Glad I could help!
