Draeb
I'm a vanguard wanting to put mods into other gear for the style. Can I buy light or medium armor orange gear and put mods that boost vanguard tank stats without losing any stats? I read a guide that mentions this but didnt go into details if I could use any armor. DarkoDon
Tried that, the problem is, the armor value wont be as high as the same mods in heavy armor. I wantted to tank in the VIP store storm trooper outfit that for some reason is considered "light" armor. Took the mods from my current chest piece and threw em in the new chest, but the armor value was lower. Stats were the same but lower armor. Fomby
Type of armor will not change. It will stay either heavy medium or light. However I think I read something saying that bioware is working on putting social armor that have medium and heavy stats in the game.

Draeb
I wish this feature was implemented already. There's some interesting social gear. Just found a slave outfit on Balvoris (sp?).
