..and by "successfully" I mean "received an improved recipe" and not just getting a couple of mats back.

I've Reverse Engineered many items now. I know the basics of how the system works. I've had "unlucky" attempts on other items where I've needed to RE a crafted item maybe 10-12 times before the improved recipe dropped. Other items I got the recipe on the first attempt.

For some reason I've never ever had a successful attempt on a shotgun and I've got to be pushing 40 attempts now across various levels. Sure, the random number generator may hate me but it could also be a bug so I'd love it if you'd respond if you've had problems with shotguns or if you've had success.
