ChrisMattar
As a Jedi Sentinel, Would it be beneficial in any way gathering Aim, Cunning and Willpower datacrons? Would raising those attributes help at all or can they be safely ignored?
Mithros
Willpower will help you with some of your force powers, but aim and cunning are tech only. If you skip those, your character's performance will not be impacted. Force using classes benefit from strength and willpower, tech using classes benefit from aim and cunning. One of the stats is more important, depending upon the class in question, but their are benefits from raising the other stat as well. Skodan
do datacrons give your companions bonuses too, if so then it would be helpful for them Edited September 30, 2012 by Skodan
Yogol
do datacrons give your companions bonuses too, if so then it would be helpful for them No. There are only 2 of your stats that give companions a bonus. 1. Presence makes them do more DPS and more healing. 2. Affection makes them do crafting missions faster and crit those crafting missions more often. That's all, the rest of your companion is based on the gear that THEY wear. Edited October 1, 2012 by Yogol

JacksonMo
I don't have any issues with the posts above, I believe them to be accurate. However, I would like to point out, that even with stats you gain no benefit from, you also gain exp. Maybe not enough to justify a long arduous run and jump. (I've attempted the one on Corruscant at least a dozen times.) But if it's fairly simply to get to, the exp bonus alone makes it worth the effort. Also you get to read about Galactic History, which is cool.
JacksonMo
Also you get to read about Galactic History, which is cool. Probably too boring for the teen aged, Red Bull fueled, power gamers. But I find it interesting.
