RacerDemon
I just got this Email today, however I think its for new accounts only, if this is true, that sucks . Anyone have any idea? http://i795.photobucket.com/albums/yy235/Sadris/StarWars-1.jpg Edited March 16, 2013 by RacerDemon
Kazya
I got it too. I WANT THIS PET. Bioware, how about fixing it so we get it either way? I've been playing since launch, I collect pets. I want it. :(:(:(
Swissbob
I didn't get the email... but I want that pet! If I unsubscribe and then resubscribe, do I get it?
Kazya
Email says it's for new accounts... tells you to create an account with the email it was sent to. I want it... Wonder if it's tradeable.
Nivek_Sivad
I think it was how it was back when they introduced the "Taun-Taun Ram". If you had a subscribed account, you'd get a mail with the mini-pet in it. I would expect a battledroid in your mailbox soon!

Vandicus
April Fools joke maybe? *EDIT Actually do you two guys own whatever the latest Battlefield game is? Seems like EA might be doing some cross promotional stuff. Edited March 16, 2013 by Vandicus
Kazya
April Fools joke maybe? That's a cruel April Fool's Day joke.
Vandicus
That's a cruel April Fool's Day joke. Just noted the April 1st date, and was like maybe.... More likely it seems they're doing some cross promotion with their other games.

It doesn't change the fact that I've been playing since early access and I WANT THE PETS. ...Please, Bioware? Pleeeeeeeeaaaseeeee????
Darth-Malice
It's just a re pallet of the already existing 5 droids of the same type in the game. If it was truly unique then maybe I'd be upset.

CelCawdro
Looks like it went to Origin accounts that have Battlefield 3 purchased but not SW:TOR.
DarthVitrial
Seriously? Bioware, tip: Don't give new members things existing members can't get. Of course, if the speculation on the forums is true, we existing players might be able to get it by getting Battlefield, so... Also, why wouldn't Bioware be advertising Battlefield to SWTOR players? It doesn't make sense to only tell Battlefield players about the droid.... Edited March 16, 2013 by DarthVitrial
Mowermanx
Looks like it went to Origin accounts that have Battlefield 3 purchased but not SW:TOR. This, its a promotion for new players. Every game does it.
Hyfy
Looks like it went to Origin accounts that have Battlefield 3 purchased but not SW:TOR. I don't have Battlefield 3 and I got the email also. Edit: I take that back, while I did get a SWTOR promotional email today it was not the same one as in the OP. DarthVitrial
Drat. Well, I want the droid a lot, but I have no interest in Battlefield at all. ...This droid better not be requirement for a Legacy Achievement in 2.0 like the Korrealis speeders were. DarthBuckets
As someone who collects every pet (even promotional ones and simple reskins) and has been playing since Early Access, I'm really hoping these reskins are somehow available to existing subscribers. DarthVitrial
My hope is that they'll be added to the Cartel Market. (If they aren't, all we need to do is complain until they are! )

Pscyon
"I bought TOR and all I got was this lousy vanity pet". Well. As stated, it's just a reskin, I think new players can be given that much. There's at least 2 others available from cartel packs and definitely a third one from the Gree event, if you don't like GTN or the cartel market. True enough it may be a "cool" reskin you might really really want and it's annoying when it's placed out of your reach, but the game has plenty of that allready. For instance, I will never get my hands on an Aratech Nightscythe, the coolest looking speederbike in the game. Nor will my bounty hunter get the Imperial Soldier armour, as I didn't get CE. Minor annoyance though, just had to find alternatives.

Same here! I want to be able to get all the pets, but I have absolute no interest in Battlefield. Maybe BioWare is now just trying to annoy the collectors and completionists, sometimes I thing they really hate the folks who played from the start. Mistress_Ivi
Wait... we pay for the game, most of us sub... some of us pay into it with more money for coins - but the freebies get fluff content we can't have? I thought you guys were all about pay-to-win... bleh!
