Hi guys, just need to ask a little question about the orange gear you pick up! Could you pick up a bit of gear....say an orange chest piece at level 16 and still be wearing it at level 42 if you keep updating & changing the mods etc! If so would it still compete with the other gear stats that you pick up at that level? Any help answering this wouldn't appreciated. Thanks

yes you could. Each piece of orange gear has a base armor multiplier based on its type (light/medium/heavy). So just stick with whatever armor type you wear.

Yeap. As long as you upgrade it with higher level mods you can keep that sweet looking chest piece or weapon. The down side is most custom armor only has 3 mod slots and lack the 4th augment slot more commonly found on upper level raid or PvP armor.
