richardya
This is amazing that it got through beta. It's not the end of the world but it's such an amateur mistake. It looks like a badly designed android phone app.
Dzhokhar
I created an in-game bug report when I noticed this a few weeks ago. It prevented me from easily re-enabling sprint after dying until I moved sprint to a different slot.
Khabarach
It actually only happens on lower resolutions. It's a UI scaling issue more than anything. Edited January 27, 2012 by Khabarach
Dzhokhar
It actually only happens on lower resolutions. It's a UI scaling issue more than anything. All I know is that it happens at my monitor's resolution of 1680x1050, which isn't particularly low. I shouldn't have to buy a bigger monitor just to get all of my quickslots. Kinediks
It actually only happens on lower resolutions. It's a UI scaling issue more than anything. Not true. Im running at 1080p. Maybe il try one res lower since 1080p leaves a small boarder around my screen.
Guapos
It actually only happens on lower resolutions. It's a UI scaling issue more than anything. That's interestin to note. I run the game at 1680x1050, and I get this map overlap issue still.

Outlawe
The Internet might have commercialised the word 'retarded' but it a deeply insulting word to bandy around, especially since people with real disabilities exist, and gaming is one hobby they can enjoy in an inclusive nature anonymously, free of prejudice. And while you are it carebear mods, do something about all these whine threads.

All I simply meant was that it seems the UI was designed by someone using 2560x1600, at which point everything is pretty much the perfect size. Bumping down the resolution leads to the scaling issues mentioned. Edited January 27, 2012 by Khabarach

SWImara
It is a pretty bush-league mistake. I just stopped using my top quickslots as a workaround but yeah I'm pretty sure everyone knows the game's UI is poor. Fortunately it is already slated to be addressed, hopefully soon. Khabarach
Apparently the developers own stock in companies that make 30" monitors.Given that they are game developers and will need to see as much detail as possible, it wouldn't suprise me in the least if they were all on 30". Never noticed this. But I run at 1900x1280 or whatever it is. UI component scaling coming soon!!Actually, if this is the case, then it may be an aspect ratio issue more than anything. Everyone it seems to be happening to is on 16:9. It might be worth switching to a lower res 16:10 or 4:3 to see if the same thing still happens. I shouldn't have to buy a bigger monitor just to get all of my quickslots. It happens at 1920x1080 too I just don't use these slots for stuff I need in Voidstar, e.g. the throw the huttball ability. But adjustable quickbar location/size would help a lot. (Yes I keybind them anyway but the icon has to go somewhere.) Aowar
The maps for imps are moronic in every warzone. Left should mean west and right should mean east. However the moronic developers made it so that imps maps are backwards from the direction you actually move. It isn't an problem for reps as their maps align with directions fine. Aurinax
Yeah lol. Everytime I get Voidstar I cringe at the top right. It's not so much that alone as it is a combination of: Too many abilities per class + Not enough hotbars + No way to macro abilities together with shift/ctrl/alt modifiers + The incredibly intrusive Voidstar UI elements. All of those put together make that Warzone frustrating. However, I love the actual gameplay of it, for the record.
