Jarren Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 ive played wow for about 5 years so its hard not to compare. sure the game just came out but when wow came out it had more than swtor. first of all you cant queue for flashpoints. players are so unreliable so its hard to find a good group it takes for ever. theres too many heroic quests like i said it takes forever to find a good group and the heroics are impossible to solo. there is only 1 area to quest per alliance which is *********** ridiculous. they should have focused more on content and less on gosh darn voice acting. the side quests are boring you have to walk across the planet to get to them its just a big mess. because of the 1 zone per alliance per level it feels as though there no freedom to play the way you want and level at the rate you want because everyone is doing the exact same quests, getting the exact same gear etc. it shouldnt even be classified as a rpg imo in almost all rpgs theres freedom to choose where you want to level. this is basically a sad version of kotor. every thing else is pretty good i guess. but bottom line i think im gonna go for another 5 years on wow. oh im sorry, and the multi million dollar MMO you made is where? if you do a bonus quest you can skip planets, you could also PvP/ Space Combat to 50. You can level at any rate you want, if you skip heroics ou go slower, if you do the bonus quests you go faster. if it sucks so much get lost Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Xareas Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 This game is full of hardcore Star Wars fans that have obviously never played a MMO. The content in SWTOR is extremely lackluster, basic elements are missing and bugs are everywhere. Its fun to play if you take it as a standalone get to the end game as you would a single player console or other Bioware product but it fails on every level as a MMO. WoWs community was crap from the start. Heres the thing, people tell you different things. "Only group with people you know" "Get a (better) guild" "Make friends" Those are your only options without LFG, why? Because even WITHOUT LFG! people are ******es. Look through this thread, you have people ************ about ninjaing mission objectives, needing items for their companion, and just plain douche baggery. the LFG only exposes you to people that everyone NOW is already telling you to avoid when they say "Only group with people you know". Also, those three things? are the EXACT SAME THINGS people tell you if/when you ***** about LFG. It never changes. A company needs money to pay programmers and to add programmers. They get the game out to get at least SOME return on their investment, to invest back into the game. WoW didn't have **** on release. Zeppelins zoning and just dropping everyone to their death, no raids... 5 mans you could technically raid and maybe MAYBE UBRS, dont remember if that was there on launch or not. Stop expecting them to just grow money out of their *** George Bush style to give everything a game that makes $50million/month to be able to impelement years after it's launched.
