Xenirath
1.5 is thursday most likely. Don't hold your breathe on that one. Chances are it will be thanksgiving week.
Screaming_Ziva
LOL. 1.5 is still a few weeks away if the latest test server patch notes are any indication. Here is my favorite part of the notes posted yesterday: Several issues with Operations Bosses will prevent Operations from being completed as intended. It is not recommended that Operations be tested on this PTS build. They've basically broken all operations and they're telling us to not even bother playing ops. Can you imagine if that went live? MelodicSixNine
Let's just hope we receive ANY patch with fixes.
HelinCarnate
Next week would be the end of the 6 week period since the last update so IF they actually stick to the schedule, expect it next week. (Notice the big if)

Not holding my breath at all, just looking at their previous track record. It's looking like either this week or next week.

K, so long as you aren't disappointed if it takes 3-4 weeks which still falls within their November™ and FALL™ timelines. PoliteAssasin
K, so long as you aren't disappointed if it takes 3-4 weeks which still falls within their November™ and FALL™ timelines. what else do they have to test? They've tested the operations, they've tested f2p, there are simply a few bugs to correct and it should be good. You don't need 3-4 more weeks for that. zenfaust
I'm pretty sure if they had a definitive time they were going to release the F2P patch, they would do some sort of advertising with it. It's not in their interest to stealth it into the game under peoples noses. There would be ads everywhere saying "F2P Coming on Such-and-Such Day! Sign Up Now!" Safe to say, it isn't today... bbates
There will be a ton more hype around it if 1.5 includes F2P which looks like the way it is going.
Gomla
there are simply a few bugs to correct and it should be good. You don't need 3-4 more weeks for that. They have had about a year and we still have bugs that were in beta. If you think they can fix the bugs on the PTR in the space of a week then i've got some bad news..... Santa isn't real, you seem to believe in the magical and I hate to be the one to burst that bubble but it needs doing.

They've tested the operations, they've tested f2p, there are simply a few bugs to correct and it should be good. You don't need 3-4 more weeks for that. It can take weeks to fix a "minor" bug because of far reaching implications, also since f2p is part of 1.5 they still need to fix the rewards being granted correctly for flashpoints, the cartel boxes granting green mats, the cartel boxes not granting anything at all, tweak f2p restrictions until they are 100% happy with them, create web page for purchasing cartel coins, set up functionality of web page including bank accounts, paypal services, international sales issues... Fact is what we might think is "small" is actually very large, do you have any idea what the code for a game of this size looks like? One "small" issue can be 1000s of lines of code, and then once the "fix" it they need to retest it which will likely have more bugs with it so then they have to compromise on the least game affecting bug and use that build. Long story short, it can take 3-4 weeks to fix something as "minor" as what needs to be fixed.
