chiefers Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Ok, so I can't find any information on this. I had no idea what the legacy system was. So I put in an incredibly stupid name just to get it out of my face. Now knowing that it's a title that I could have put something clever in I'm severely disappointed in the name I choose. So my question is, can I level a second character and get a new Legacy Name? Or if I delete the character with the Legacy Name I don't like will that free up space for a new Legacy Name? Dystopic Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 IDK but, since legacy names are shared on the server you might have to delete every char on that server or just go into options menu and turn off the title. mathisk Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 You might want to try submitting a support/customer service ticket requesting a legacy name change. I don't know their policy, but you might get lucky and be granted an opportunity to choose a better name. As an alternative, you could report your legacy name as being offensive or against the TOS and possibly be "forced" to change it.
