Some people actively oppose it. BW has NOT said it will happen any time soon. Compared to all the things people want, this appears to be a back burner item at this time. My own position: Though I don't oppose it in principle, I feel people who want it have the alternative to roll a new toon up 10 levels fairly quickly. Given that option I would rather the devs use their limited resources elsewhere for something that would benefit more people.
