Hey there people. Has anyone crunched the numbers on an alac. vs. crit. build for a Carnage Mara? Wondering if it worth it to go alac., or if I can just go 1.4 + full crit (as this will make it easier to switch specs with current gear)?

For PvE you have these numbers:

>= 663, 1.4 GCD without Guild Perk

>= 1260, 1.3 GCD with Guild Perk

I believe 1.3s GCD without Guild Perk is 2374, it could be okay for PvP if you run no Accuracy. But I think for Carnage it's definitely worth running 5% Accuracy, so not sure about 1.3s GCD in that case.

1.3 with 2374 alac is better in Pve, especially in scaled ops. You will be using crit+mastery relics though in that case in Dxun/ lvl75 or crit+alac in scaled content. (at 1.4 gcd you run into diminishing returns on crit in scaled ops).

In pvp 1.3 is not ideal or viable as you are trading too much burst for sustain.
