Many of you are aware that the website is a lot slower now on top of other issues, but in its current state I am not able to do anything with parses. It's barely even more dps than Arsenal (you can look at falvers old thread), while being worse in lots of ways. The only hilarious hybrid out there involving Pyrotech is on Powertechs where you take oil slick and basically lose like 2-400 dps for a raid defensive cd. TBH, this DPS board, and every other board, has been RIP in Pieces for weeks because Torparse can't get their **** together. I parsed today, and literally couldn't upload a single parse over a period of 1.5 hours. literally 4 attempted uploads, all timed out after waiting a LONG time. Oh well. KeyboardNinja Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 A bit of clicking through torparse's forums uncovered that they're apparently maxed on disk space (around 2 TB) and experiencing ongoing record load. Not sure how they could be experiencing record load when nobody is able to use the service, but maybe it's a DoS… Anyway, they're migrating the servers. Even if they don't create their own they should at least be helping the owner of torparse get his stuff back on track. Bioware doesn't owe Torparse a damn thing. Torparse was unable to keep their database in a working order with donations that pour in every month. And apparently, the amount of information in their database was somewhere in the realm of 2TB. Total. They can literally buy a 2TB HDD for less than what they get donated in a month. Boom, just doubled their storage space. Please. I deleted over a hundred logs to try and alleviate space, but even that took me literally an entire day, because deleting a log on Torparse is BASICALLY cancer.
