kcirevamnalyd
I don't believe that there is a setting for "all" missions to be seen on the map, the toggle for exploration quest is a proximity focus. As for guides, i would guess "not" but could be wrong. Websites like SWTOR-SPY.com (I'm sure there are others) have a wealth of info in databases. I have used swtor-spy for help and hints in regards to quest locations, lore and Datacrons, etc,.
SteveTheCynic
There is, indeed, no mission-availability-display-range setting, and the range we have isn't all that long. ArcheAge had such a thing, which by default was set to a range similar to SWTOR's, but could be enlarged to "all of the map you're on", which in SWTOR terms would mean "all of what shows up if you just open the planet map". If you're in, say, Clabburn Tundra on Hoth, it would show *all* the available missions of any type (Heroic, Side(1), Exploration(1), <Story Arc>, Bonus Series, and so on.) in the Clabburn Tundra, but only in that map. Sadly, it doesn't exist in SWTOR. (1) Side missions and Exploration missions are similar in concept, and the distinction is entirely arbitrary. Exploration missions are masked by the toggle and have a small star by their triangle, while Side missions are not masked by the toggle, and have a plain yellow triangle.
