Since the RNG of gear loot was toned down, the gear acquisition system is looking a lot better. Having a vendor for all set bonus gear sets was a good call. However, there isn’t yet a clear way for players to put mods in that gear. Unless crafting is made substantially more affordable, there needs to be a way for players to pick out what specific mods they want. I understand that these a-la-carte mods would cost more Data Crystals than the RNG vendor, but that’s a sacrifice players would be willing to take.

Good point. Not sure if I'm up to date on how the mod acquisition will exactly work when going live but at least on the current pts it felt a little to difficult to get what you want. Especially since there are now a ton of different mods.
