Will this event be enjoyable for Australians that have to play with 280 ping? Zoist's vehicle mission is very laggy, many times you teleport backwards and miss animations.

Try it and see.

 

I know that might sound a bit snarky, but it's on the PTS so we can try it. As far as I know, the PTS is in the same place as the normal US servers, so you should have a really clear picture of how it will behave on Live.

 

That said, I found it to be slightly glitchy in a couple of spots in the Onderon track, although I only had 85-90ms sever ping (transatlantic). That's probably a combination of Onderon itself, which has *lots* of leaves to slow down rendering, and the fact that it's on PTS and therefore isn't yet fully tuned.

 

But anyway, I recommend that you give it a try. When it goes live, it will not be *more* glitchy than on the PTS.

Don't really want to download the pts just to test an event quest. Was just asking since this content is very intriguing and I really like that its something besides kill these etc. But if its very unenjoyable with a high ping, I will probably do it once and forget. Edited May 15, 2020 by ZIMMOZMAN
