OddballEasyEight
Also, physical authenticators = more cost including shipping, while a APP requires a lot less work/cost and no shipping costs, they will never bring back the physical version, thats just how it goes less cost = good, more cost = bad. Just accept it. Physical autenticator cost money to make, true. But they also cost money to buy, thus making back the money that they cost to make. The phone one costs next to nothing, but then it is given out for free. So there's nothing stopping them from making new physical ones if there is a demand for them. Hell, they might even make a profit.
OddballEasyEight
I have thought of this, and on paper it's a great idea. But for me, it's just ANOTHER device to lug around from one part of the UK to the other (and yeah it's small, but when you add laptops, phones and other tech) which I'm going to have to pay for and eventually buy a suitcase for just for the stuff. First world problems? Absolutely. But I'm prepared to pay £40 for the convenience of just having a keyring. Not to mention that it is pretty much the equivalent of buying a physical keyring that's more expansive, needs recharging and takes up more space... OddballEasyEight
US $81 it seems with a quick google - http://www.amazon.com/Republic-Collectors-Edition-Security-Digpass/dp/B00774306S That is WAY expensive.
Makillda
That is WAY expensive. Less than it was when new, though. Still, I'm glad I grabbed mine for $30 at Gamestop a couple of months before f2p happened.

Tsillah
download an android emulator and then the app, problem solved. This is probably the best solution although I am still glad I got one of the physical ones. At least it's not an additional piece of software that a hacker can get into.
