I wanted to thank everyone who has posted here for all the great ideas!

 

I also wanted to ask that when suggesting an item please add as much information as possible. Sometimes we have a hard time figuring out exactly what clothing, armor, etc someone wants because we simply can't find the item or what it looks like. The more information you give us the better.

Bioware devs if you would add the Darth Malgus armor (can conveniently call it the Betrayer Armor set ) I would throw money at you in a non-harmful way!

 

I know some people will come here and say that the armor is already in game. Not true. There are variations, but none of them have the cape. I want the armor with the cape plz.

You guys could always just add a cape to the Sith Raider set, but its been on the market for a while so I doubt you'd want to just change it now.

 

We now have Soa's armor in the packs so it shouldn't be a problem to add another PvE boss' armor in there as well.

In regards to the "battleworn" Jedi robes, I'd love to see ones that look like Ben Kenobi's from the recent Kenobi book and statue that came out.

This set (Dashing Hero's Armor Set) they are planning on adding in the Space Jockey’s Starfighter Pack is heading in the right direction as far as style goes but they messed it up by not putting a big silver chestplate on it. I understand some people want a nude look but don't ruin a nice looking set like this lol. Anyways, if this set could reappear with a big silver chest plate on it and make legs and boots silver to match then this would be a really nice looking set. Anytime you mix blues, blacks, and silvers your more than likely going to get a nice looking set.

I would like to see the armor from the video for trooper progression. Or at least 2 parts from it.

 

The armor is similar to the TD-17A Colossus set, but the coloration is a matte camo Brown/OD Green (and not one of the brown/green dyes that are available), with a helmet that is not available to players in the game (but the model is in game as an NPC helmet).

One of the armors I would like to see make it's way to SWTOR is the armor of Unidentified Sith Master your group faces in KOTOR 2 in the Sith Temple of Freedon Nadd on Dxun. There were 3 of them all dressed the same.

Although as other's have said a few midriff wearing tops without the silly bits (flaps/piles of material etc) anywhere below said midriff would be appreciated. Oh and a version of the Aspiring Knight/Ambitious Warrior top without the Tertiary brown bits (the V of the neck and center of the hood)

Opinion: Something similar to ARC armor would be cool, but I highly doubt that will happen.

 

Statement: It is after all still ~3500 years before the Clone Wars happen. So the chances are not likely.

 

Placation: Not that they can't come up with something similar looking, even if only slightly. They did make the Smuggler's ship look like the Ebon Hawk mashed up with the Millennium Falcon, the Thunderclap looks like a B-Wing without the rotating cockpit, the Jedi ship looks like a miniature Tantive, and so on.

 

Conclusion: So if they can pull it off, that would be so cool and I will add it to my collection of looks. Just don't get your hopes up.

Sadly the Section X reputation gear doesn't have the Snowtrooper-ish helmet which is the part I want most. :/

As long as they add a cool chestplate with shoulder pads, some ammo pouches, and a kama skirt/buttflap, I'd be happy. I'll remain optimistic that it'll happen sometime in the year.

I think they should come out with the conqueror shells and make them adaptive as well and cross faction. The Operative conq trenchcoat would look perfect on my guardian.

Bring back the old Rakata and Columi PVE gear. It was awesome. And adaptive of course. Also...

It makes no sense to restrict cosmetics to certain classes because of armor restrictions.

We know for few days that they are rewards for reputation from new factions in 2.7. Hood up and down variants. Shame it's a junkyard Jedi robe instead of something white-brown and more iconic.

Yes, I think I will make a thread politely asking our cartel dev why is it such a big issue to put such robes in. There is nothing that just screams "Star Wars" and "Jedi" more than those! Although I believe the robes from the first picture will be available for direct purchase, like the Vintage Republic Military set. Certain someone whispered to me that they're going to put more traditional and iconic looks close to May because it's when the first teasers of new Star Wars film should show up - they're counting for an influx of Jedi wannabes to come into TOR. How true is it? I have no clue but sounds like what they were doing so far - stalling ready content for months.

Please keep commentary about personal opinions on the armor design out of the thread if you don't have anything else to contribute. There are lots of other places on the forums where you can complain about that.

 

Instead, you could suggest armors without those flaps you dislike so much.

 

My "commentary" is part of and pertains the armor requests. They wanted a clear explanation, and I gave them many. Nothing was a complaint either. They are valid to the armors.

 

You don't run the forums either. Good day.
