Coolhandmik
BW as you can see there are more threads posted in this forum than in any other section other than "General", and "Customer service". Soon it will be more than all the other combined. We would like to propose a civil conversation regarding several things pvp. To include, class imbalances, queue divisions, and hacks/exploits. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=572587 lag hacks http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=608444 scripting http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=608845 hacks/explits http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=594814 hacks http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=590180 hacks All these are still very active threads at least 2-3 days old. We humbly demand a response and propose an open and civil converstation to discuss these issues!
cabled
has already been stated that hacks should not be reported in these forums and that they will not discuss those here. don't understand why that point does't seem to be understood
MidichIorian
You mention several "issues" but you're only linking to hack threads. Are they such a big deal for you? Personally I'd say that 99,9 % of all hacks hail from people having no idea what other classes are capable of, bugs and/or network issues. The latter would explain why some people suffer more than others, get a better connection. The remaining 0,1 % could be made up by 0,09% intended network fiddling and 0,01% code. All we have so far are videos in which one person may or may not have been up to something. You rarely to never come across a video in which you with certainty can say that a person was hacking. And yet its such a big issue. I take 6,9K hits in 1396 expertise on a game to game basis, I think that's a bigger issue. I don't think there is not hacking going on, I think you ahve to accept that in all games there is some hacking of some kind there (to what degree I don't know) but a lot of what I see could be accounted to not knowing the other class, and Lag issues (there are a lot of lag issues in this game). The engine seems to be far from stable at times. I just completed a new rig for the upcomming ESO beta, and launch. Along with this build I included software to moniter incomming and outgoing connections on my ROG MB. Normaly I see two connections to SWTOR, but during the lag spikes (when I have everything else locked down) I had three pages of connections running on ports that SWTOR is useing. there are bigger issues in this game than what people think are hacks.
