This is the new thread resuming where Sylvand left off updating the top DPS parses on the server. Unfortunately, he doesn't have as much time to take care of this anymore, so I'll be happily updating this daily (as much as I can at least!) Also, if you would like to post your gear as a reference for others to see what you're wearing when you made your parse, be sure to check out This link for Askmrrobot.

Rules:

• Not going to make it complicated, you must use the Health Modifier for 1 million health & the Armor Reduction Module. These can be purchased from your Repair droid on your ship. This means you will finally be able to use executes & have an armor debuff for your parses. Your dummy should look something like this with the modules applied. Parses will NOT BE CROPPED . Since the dummy is set to a set 1m health, you automatically exit combat as soon as his health hits 0, so there is no need to crop these parses at all. An example of what a parse should look like is this. There will be a top 3 for 1m and 1.5m parses to throw a little variety into it, but 1m will be the base-line parses.

EDIT: Parses will account for TTK (time to kill) since SW:TOR combat logs exit combat early, so I will manually crop the killing blow onto all of the parses so the whole fight is recorded.

• You can use self buffs and the 4 class buffs, no external help from guild mates (debuffs/inspiration) or the nightmare pilgrim buff.

• Any stim, adrenal, grenade you wish to use is fine.

• No pre-parse proc'ing of relics.

• This is all in good fun no elitism and everyone is welcome to participate.

Rankings will be done in a 1st - 3rd format for each set of advanced class (Commando/Mercenary is in the same category for example). Not all specs are equal for each advanced class so when you link your Torparse log make sure to make a copy of your spec , on Torhead for example, and include that in your post as well. If you wish you may also include a breakdown of your stats if you want to let others know your gear set up.

Also with the buffed main stat relic im getting about 1% extra crit for the duration. Not sure if it really making a difference, but I feel like im swimming in energy. Im doing some parses with quick shot/overload shot as a replacement filler for FoB/Rifle Shot. Im interested to see if any other hybrid slingers/snipers are experiencing the same thing.

Neither is perfect: with the way torparse does it, your total damage is below 1500000 (you see mine in the parse is 1495k or so), but counting the dispatch naively, it's above 1.5 million by about 2.5k. I guess the real way to do it would be to take 1500000/(length of parse), which would be 3499 in this example.

Anyway, these are all pretty close and it's not worth bothering. Just a funny torparse wrinkle.

I have seen exactly what you're talking about and I'm trying to figure out an appropriate method for this. One other thing I want to note is I'm debating on having a section for 1m and 1.5m dummy parses, but I am figuring out how to set up the page and/or which parses would take priority.

Question: Is there a way to load the files from parsec like torparse does? When parsec came out stopped using torparse

Alright so even though Parsec is saying one thing and Torparse interprets it differently (I've tested this a few times now), I still think I have to side on Torparse's side. For better or worse, something has to remain consistent and I feel this way would be easiest. It is only Day 1 with this new content, so we'll see what other problems/misc things may arise.
