I'm on my quest to obtain my last 24 "obtainable" mounts and last 6 pets on my main toon, but am beginning to wonder if some of these even exist in 5.0. So here is my start to the "Rare & Obscure Mounts & Pets" thread, not including promo items.

These are the ghosts that I am doubting their existence:

• Eternal Seeker - from Uprising: Fractured - have not seen
  
• Imperial Korrealis KL-9Z - not the SE version - does this non-SE version drop from MM Tython/Korriban as well?
  
• Republic Korrealis KL-8A - not the SE version - does this non-SE version drop from MM Tython/Korriban as well?
  
• Red Sphere - seen it, but what's the drop rate on Xenoanalyst 8m and 16m HM?

• Hagnoffarl - Once dropped from the Chevin Event; Rumored to drop from Makeb and Oricon artifact drops/boxes - any information on where you've seen this guy?
  
• Savanna Manka Lynx - Once upon a time was a cartel item (1.7); anyone still see this one either?

This is my favourite mount. It use to be from a rep vendor. But it’s not there anymore. I was able to get another from an Odessen gift crate.

Don't think it was ever added to the game, other than that one guy who got rewarded it by Customer Service.

Drops in all modes now, you'd assume the harder difficulties would be more common...

I have one and I wasn't around for the Chevin event. Reckon it was an open world drop.

Roche Gangster is obtainable. You just have to rank Hylo Vez up to level 20. Or you can buy it on the GTN from someone else who has.

Pretty sure it was BOP when I got it off Hylo. But I could be wrong. I do know it hasn’t dropped for me since after 500 crates.

It seems to me that you just get one of these (or some form of token**) when you get Hylo to rep level 10 or 20***. It doesn't drop from crates.

I'm pretty sure it's BoE, not BoP - I used to pass them on to other alts. They may BoL as well.

To get another one, you'd need to take an alt through whatever (KOTET?) and level Hylo again.

** if it's a token, I think you trade them in to a vendor in the Odessen hanger.

*** There's one different Mount or token obtainable from leveling each of the 4 Alliance Specialists. They are basically different skins of the same mount.

I'm somewhat of a mount and pet collector too, but I haven't been seriously "seeking" them until recently, I've just gotten them from play rewards, crates, etc.

I didn't know the ones you list even existed. It might be fun to try to track some down.

I might have to do some uprisings as well - I haven't done any yet.

Definitely BOE. I leveled Hylo to Level 20 on 8 mains and received the token for each. I used all 8 tokens and kept 2-3 of the Roche mounts. I sold the other 5-6 on the GTN. Did the same with the other 3 Alliance Specialists

There are a few like that one.

The Savannah Nekarr Cat is pretty common and is available on the Cartel Market for 120 (50% off this week). Also on the GTN.

The Arctic Manka Lynx was a promo only obtainable through Best Buy. I think a Cartel Market gift card or something. The Forest Nekarr Cat was through EU Retailers. Same type of promo.

The Jungle Manka Lynx, Desert Nekarr Cat, and Tundra Nekarr Cat can be found on the Cartel Market and thus the GTN.

The Shadow Nekarr Cat can be found on the Cartel Market or also from Tol Feshin in the Cartel Bazaar.

I don't know of any that drop from Command Crates. You might be thinking of the Wasteland Nexu.

Anyway, there are obviously a few that are no longer available because they were past promos. But there's everything you need to know about Mank Lynx and Nekarr Cats.

My Savanna Nekarr Cat came from a CM crate - an Ultimate Cartel Pack to be exact - just recently. (Not a Command Crate.)

I'm not sure where I got the Tundra and Desert Nekarr Cats, but if they are a CM item, then I also got them from Cartel Market crates. I didn't buy any of them directly. (In fact I've never bought a pet, and only one mount (Solus Secant - flash sale), directly from the CM.)

Yeah, I remembered them being BOE also. Luckily, I just dinged 20 on one of my alts, so I was able to buy the speeder to test it. It's not BOP, but there is a refund timer--maybe some of the confusion comes from people who tried to sell or transfer it before the timer ran out.
