The patch earlier this week cleaned up a lot of the space mission achievements, but this is the last one left for me to get (Republic side) and I cannot seem to do it.

Am I overlooking a tactic or 2? If so, please give details here. I do not mind spoilers. I cannot find any youtube videos that cover this either and just want to get it done.

Or is it bugged/impossible?

(Lvl 55 Trooper with full rank 7 ship equipment and all optional equipment.)

I have to disagree...fondor escort bonus mission IS possible and i have gotten it

You need to destroy the 2nd capital ship command you have tiny tiny window where its possible

You need about 3 seconds to lock on and the ship staies in screen for 3.3 seconds lol

Very hard to acoomplish (took me like 4 or so tries)

However it is possible and i have gotten all but the Sollust Interception (Empire) and Hydian Way Blockade (Republic) wich appear to be bugged

That said I have the Hydian Way bonus done also. I'm at 99% total and all I'm missing is the Sullust Interception (Empire) as the Republic side is 100% for me at least.

interesting i just attempted hydian way bonus and i still can't get it

Judging by experience bonus i destroied close to 100 fighters none of them gave me a mission and i did complete the other 2 to destroy heavy fighters and the engines on the other funny looking fighter

I did them all yesterday. My Rep who did the missions was lvl 51, my Imp 55. Just went down the list and completed them all then logged in my Imperial and did the same...until I hit Sullust Interception :mad:

tried 4 times now on my 51 vanguard and no bonus mission will pop (other than those 2 previously mentioned)

Makes me wonder if its only bugged for certain classes...or servers

We definitely have a few straggler Space Combat missions where the Achievements aren't working properly, and I can confirm that this is one of them. In addition to Fondor Escort, the Achievements for Javall Fleet Action, Hydian Way Blockade, and Drexel Sweep are still unable to be obtained. Thanks for your understanding, and please watch the patch notes in upcoming patches for when the fixes are implemented!

 

I spent some time working on it. I can confirm that I have all Repblic side missions and boni complete as of patch 2.1.1. Not sure why you guys feel some cannot be completed.

There are no good videos of this particular bonus mission, but you have to time it just right withthe torpedoes on the correct target.

As for me, I was just needed to learn the timing/tactics, which, to be fair, leave no room for error.

As far as I know, besides Hydian Way (if you didn't already have it), the only one that can be completed is Sallust Interception. The bonus for extra ships just does NOT come up, or is not achieved. I'm 99% overall, and this is the only thing that I need to unlock for 100% on space missions, in the achievements tab.

Confirmed, it's possible to complete this, although it's quite difficult and will require some tries. The mirror missions is much easier cause the third capital counts as well (for the empire) and has an easily targeted command bridge.

There are also two more bugged missions (already submitted all the bug reports), that WILL show up as complete, but have an incorrect achievement objective that will NOT be completed and it will stay bugged on the achievement tracker because the achievement itself completes regardless of that objective completion status.

The mission is Javaal Fleet Action and its corresponding Empire version (can't recall the name right now)

Thanks for pointing this out! Sullust Interception is the other Space Combat Achievement that can't currently be completed due to the bonus mission "Decimate Republic Forces" not granting when the listed objectives are met. Please excuse its omission in the post above.

Glad to hear it! But what about the achievement tracker bug? can we count on it for game update 2.2.1 as well? im OCD and it bugs me >.<

I wanted to be sure that everyone knows that we are aware of the "Achievement Tracker" bug that is not properly removing Achievements from the tracker when they are completed after being fixed in a patch. Unfortunately I don't have a solid time frame for when it'll be fixed, but I do not believe that 2.1.1 will resolve the issue.

I believe you made a typo in your post amber should be 2.2.1 not 2.1.1 with 2.2 coming out tomorrow.
