But in the future, I would like to have a romantic relationship with Lana. Will the romance with Kira have any effect on the relationship with Lana? But when Kira returns, you’ll have to pick one or the other. You *can* romance the non-companion Lana during SoR, but that's not necessary if you want to romance her during KotFE. Heck, my first "real" character (Kylath, Worm Food, a Commando) to go through KotFE shacked up with Aric during the class story, then did the horizontal fandango with Shoulder Boy during SoR, but for ... reasons smooched Lana during KotFE, and is now engaged to her.
