anyone else noticing an increase in tanks? my servers pvp playerbase is 80% tanks at 50 -.- makes being dps blow

Not for me anyway. And I'd be expecting an increase of dps if anything. Especially with some of the disgruntled healers respeccing.

You should be winning then. Pure tanks really aren't that great in PvP unless in a dedicated support role. They only delay the inevitable: Their death. In PvP the defensive stats aren't no where near as useful as they are in PvE. Shield and Absorption are not worth stacking due to the volume of crit most DPS classes have. Defense rating is okay but most the biggest damaging abilities in game are Tech/Force attacks. Really it's the Defensive cooldowns and self-healing that keeps tanks alive. Most of them are probably hybrid spec or sporting some DPS gear.

I out dps "dps" classes all the time and I'm tank spec.

Are they actually tanks or just classes that can tank? Just because you see a Juggernaut doesn't mean you're looking at a tank.

Most tanks have laughable damage, unless they are shadow.

yeah but what happens is we get 2 imp teams that have 6 tanks in tankspec/gear ea
