Saito_Hiraga Posted December 3, 2016 Share Posted December 3, 2016 (edited) I know you guys want this as much as I do with some charcters xD But most just put limits to that wish by saying stuff such as "wont happen", "that's a main character", "they won't do it", "can't he/she is dead". But what if we could get them anyways. I mean, most of us regrect being unable to side with a villain we admire, or to be unable to save certain character that gets killed or has to die no matter what we do. Or more into the topic who of you guys haven't wanted or begged the devs to allow "X" or "Y" character join as a companion everytime a new story expansion is announced?. Some we actually get them, Lana in my case but some we don't. This is mainly due to the devs trying to keep what we get in game loyal to the story we are living in the game. But I'm sure it doesn't hurt to allow us to get some main characters whose role has already been played in the story and is now pretty much forgotten. I want to suggest that we get these companions on cartel packs as we are getting the beasts and droids right now. This companions are merely for us to enjoy, they shouldn't impact the story in any way. Since this idea is completely Off Story I don't really see why not, main issue would be that KOTOR characters doesn't have a model already in game and they don't have voice lines in SWTOR and that would involve a bigger work than recycling those models that are already in game and throw some lines already used by them. Same with Jakarro and the GSF crew. As far as off story; General Garza, Nok Drayen, Hunter(Imperial Agent Star Cabal) and Master Orgus Din(force ghost) would be cool. For the SWTOR section: -Satele and Malgus, given what they did with Nico and Shae, I can see Satele and Malgus, more likely Satele being a subscriber reward at some point. I'd probably add Revan and Jakarro as subscriber rewards as well. -Baras, I went light side with my Jug, so Baras is locked away. I'd love to have him released and be my servant. From the Warrior Story: -Way back on Korriban, if you let those tortured prisoners survive instead of executing them. -The Jedi who assists you from Voss. My Jugg and him were pretty friendly. -Darth Vowrawn RotHC: For Cytharat, I went light side, and if there was anyone my Jug would leave Theron for, he'd leave Theron for Cytharat... SOR: I'd also add Harlow Rickes to the list. The Quest Giver in the Rishi Cantina. GSF: I've love to have them. If they wanted to give some meaning back to GSF, maybe have the crews acquirable or unlock able through GSF. I'm fine without getting even more, especially ones that either have no direct relationship with the story or player, or aren't around anymore because of the way the main story panned out. Yeah but these companions are more than certainly intended to come with a Cartel Purchase or in a Cartel Pack. You are not forced to get them in you don't want. I would also say satele but it wouldn't want her as a perm. companion, rather to join you for a chapter. Speaking about Calphayus isn't he still kicking around I wonder what he's up to?
