lironBD Posted April 19, 2015 Share Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) in the last half hour my guildies shared with me a reddit thread where people share some code with which you can get a pack with unique items from the cantina event. catch? 1 use per code. So it's now like mass ninja clicking on refresh and the code over and over and over and in between swtor site will DC your account so you need to relog. This is extremely annoying... Either: 1. give everyone the pack. 2. give the pack only for those who were at the cantina event. I wash my hands out of this madness, enjoy the refresh fest. thewitchdoctor Posted April 19, 2015 Share Posted April 19, 2015 No, each code is good for FIVE people. If you are getting the codes off reddit, well, um, so are a lot of other people. Those errors you get, one of them means the code has already been redeeemed. The other probably means, ZOMG too many people clicking! Keep trying or don't. But it isn't US-only. If you have allowed cookies, there is no reason why you should be logged out constantly. And yes, the codes totally work for everyone everywhere and each code is good for 5 people. Will enough people share their codes for everyone (who cares) to get the speeder or will more people forget about the whole sharing thing once they got their items and cause the supply of keys to dry up? Know no one playing this game? Make friends ingame. Don't want to make friends ingame? Request a code ingame chat in a friendly manner. There are many ways how to get a code. Also, wait some days. There are more and more codes, they just don't all end up back at the community. And those that do don't do so instantly. It takes anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour (estimate based on what people have posted) for a code to show up on the account page once a code has been redeemed. Then it's up to the person who got the code to share it. Some share it in private with friends, some post it here or on reddit, some try to sell their codes and others don't share their code at all. If I was to guess I'd say maybe a third of the codes end up in a public place, at most. I don't have too high an opinion of humanity as a whole. So I'm sure I'm not alone in waiting until I can share with a couple friends before releasing back to reddit. I need to make sure they redeem before I post it. I sat for 20 minutes trying to use this codes from Reddit, from this forum, from my guild forum... no code ever works.. always getting the errors. So my point is if each code is good for 5 players and new code is generated once of each of those players used the code then why not just to give everyone the pack? Don't BS me about social experience and this nonsense... Social experience will be me and my guildies or random people doing something in game not sitting F5 every second on the browser the whole day for the slim chance to get a speeder I won't use anyway. It seems that I got the package in game even though all 300+ showed me an error message. So need to click some links > go in game > see if you got it.
