Hey, quick question. Is there a "best server" for GSF? I have a group of players who want to join just for GSF and we want to make sure that we can get matches. Is there a certain server that's more active for GSF or does match making go across all servers? Thank you for your time.

Matches are NOT cross server so you will all have to be on the same server.

Depends on where you are and what time you want to play. If you're in Europe, Darth Malgus is the obvious choice. Games are poping continuously from early afternoon to after midnight and games are as well-balanced as the matchmaker is capable of (meaning that there are many tight and interesting fights, but also quite a few horribly lopsided games).

Darth Malgus and Starforge are the two most active servers for GSF. With both servers you need to be there during the active time, which is typically lunchtime to midnight or beyond (local time) None of them pop much in the mornings save for a few matches here and there. Weekends can be an exception to that. Edited October 31, 2020 by Ttoilleekul

Darth Malgus Pop times:

around 8 AM eastern time U.S to about 6 or 7 PM, generally. It does pop more about 11 AM eastern.

 

Star Forge

Generally 10 AM eastern time U.S to about Midnight, but can last longer.

 

Pops are slower early on, on both servers.
