2.9+ DPS Leaderboards

Recommended Posts

Ok you all know the rules. No touching of the hair or face. And that’s it, there are no more rules. Just kidding, read Falver’s rules which we all have been following for awhile now.

“By posting parses in the thread, you are stating that you have read the following rules:

Rules

1. Must be combat logged on the level 55 Operations Training Target MK-5 and have the 1 million health module and the armor debuff module applied.

2. Parses will be standardized using the drop down time boxes. Set the time interval according to start of combat and death of the dummy.

3. Class buffs/stims/adrenals are permitted.

4. Another player is not allowed to assist with Bloodthirst/Inspiration, etc during the logging.

5. Nightmare Pilgrim buff is not permitted.

6. No use of Legacy abilities or cybertech grenades, etc.

7. Only combat logs from http://www.torparse.com/ will be accepted. All claims must be

accompanied by a link to their parse.

8. When posting please use the following format: Character - Class - Spec - xx/xx/xx - Time to kill - Guild Name - Server Name

Example: Hashtäg - Sniper - Lethality - 6/4/36 - 4’11.540 - Zorz - The Harbinger

9. Pre-stacking buffs using in-combat related moves is not allowed. However, buffs that can be replicated in an operations setting is permitted. For example, scoundrels respeccing from scrapper to dirty fighting to preload flachette round is permitted.

10. Two counterpart parses from the same person/account are not permitted. For example, I cannot have both my sniper and my gunslinger on the same top 10 leaderboard. Additionally, one person may not have multiple specs on the same leaderboard. You can however have two parses up from separate (advanced) classes.

11. All parses are required to have an AMR profile. Failure to provide this at time of update will not showcase your parse on your class’ rankings until the AMR profile is added.

*Ensuring that all of these rules are followed can be a difficult endeavor so please post with proof if you have concerns about a claim's validity.

Parses with some discrepancies and/or more thorough checking will have an asterisk assigned to them.”"

DPS Calculation Format:

All DPS Numbers will be calculated via a (Time to Kill) format. This means that we will be taking your TTK and dividing it by exactly 1 million damage to ensure that each parse is accurate and there is a constant. It is also important to note that this thread will be ranked by TTK to avoid any discrepancies.

(1,000,000 / TTK = DPS)

You missed a few posts, e.g. this one by me on page 29:

http://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=7516418&postcount=283

Assault spec (4-6-36)

http://www.torparse.com/a/715064/time/1404482133/1404482375/0/Overview

TTK 4:1.52, 4158.16 dps

Same AMR, guild, server as it was in the spreadsheet

Added, thanks. We're currently going through the process of converting all of the DPS to the exact 1 million damage on the dummy as opposed to the overkill your abilities do (over 1 million). It is explained under the rules.

I have a 4120ish parse, but I didn't have an AMR built for it, and my gear has changed, so instead of submitting it, I'm going to parse with the current gear. I'd rather all things be accurate. Really glad to see Snickerr picking up this thread where it was left off.

EDIT: I found the parse, and went and fixed my AMR but I can't clip it properly. It won't clip to the kill. It will either clip to BEFORE the kill or just AFTER the kill. So, HALP with that. For instance, if I list 19:21:53 as the end clip, it has me leaving combat, and there's attacks+damage after that log point where I do damage, and if I list 19:21:54 as the endpoint, it's actually beyond the kill log point. So, I'll link the log and give you the parse timers for exactly when combat entry and kill timer occurs.

19:17:51.383 Styrakinout enters combat.

19:21:54.238 Styrakinout kills Operations Training Dummy.

Styrakinout - Marauder - Annihilation - 36/8/2 - 4'2.358 - Death and Taxes - Prophecy of the Five

Appreciate it, Justin. I can't take all the credit as Zejim (Uwot/Full'mechanics) has done most of the initial work (He did a bunch over-night). This thread will ideally be updated on a daily or bi-daily basis so everyone will be a a lot happier I hope :D

Asarieth - Marauder - Annihilation (36/8/2) - 4:01:562 - <Holocron> - Jedi Covenant

Edit: Spec is actually 36/8/2, copied the info over too quickly from the server forums and didn''t double check.

36/7/3? Typo, or was your actual spec for that parse 36/7/3? Any reasoning behind it, if so, and do you raid with that spec as well, or just parse with it?

My guess is with burns doing more of your damage since 2.8, the reasoning is an extra 2% force damage is worth more than an extra 12% offhand damage

Maths on that parse says the 2% force crit is ~20.84dps while a 12% offhand damage boost is ~21.06dps. Note this assumes he's running 36/8/2 in his linked parse.

So the difference between the 2 is microscopic - its like 0.22 dps.

Big thank you, Yolo and friends, for taking this over, with all the work that means! *thumbsup*

I appreciate that you return to exact TTK dps calculation btw :-)

I think you missed a Sage parse I listed, so I'll repost. Would be great if you could include it as well. It's not top 10, but would be among those you listed.

Alreegan - Sage - Balance - 3/7/36 - 4’10.928 - Taking the Jawas to Alderaan - T3-M4

Best regards and thanks again!
