I use to play Jedi Knight on XBOX, but I don't have it anymore. The XBOX got sold a few years ago (7 I think) and I haven't bothered to pick it up for PC yet.

 

Jedi Academy is available for about 10 dollars on steam, right here.

 

For those who are unfamiliar with the Movie Battles 2 mod for Jedi Academy.

 

From the MB2 site:

 

Movie Battles is a fast-paced, action packed mod for the award winning Jedi Knight Jedi Academy game, that lets players play and fight in the most iconic battles seen throughout the entire saga!

Knights of the old republic 1 and 2 are my all time favorite star wars games. i wish they would come out with a number 3 simply for the amazing story line and gameplay. does anyone know if there is like a vote going on to convince bioware to make it?

 

This game is 3-10. /shrug I don't know what to tell ya.

Well says that its non-canon in how Cin died(granted said nothing of the fight but still), and didn't the novel say that Anakin killed him with two hits? Doesn't really sound like much a fight.

 

I am not quite sure about that, although I wish the in-game fight was canon, because Drallig owns Vader a few times in that battle IIRC.

Cin Drallig does pretty good in that fight, but I think the brief scene in the movies is canon. Maybe both the game and movie fight are canon. Maybe they are a blend of the two. And Obi-Wan only sees the last few seconds of the battle. I don't know, maybe that's just me being hopeful. :)

I wouldn't mind it so much, if Cin was just a regular jedi master. However he isn't..

 

1. He was trained by Yoda specifically in lightsaber combat.

 

2. He became a master swordsmen, which takes years of training and practice.

 

3. Became the Blademaster of the Jedi Order, this title and position given by the High Council.

 

4. Taught both Obi-Wan and Anakin in lightsaber combat.

 

5. Know this isn't really a feat or anything, but Vader reflected back on his actions and him crossing blades with his former teacher was one of his clearer memories.

-Rebel Assault II (fun arcade-y action, and the story was cool).

 

Note that some good games were left out because I never owned/played them, or never really got into them.

unfortunately despite my love of star wars from a young age, I didn't get a pc till early 2000's so didn't get to play tie fighter or rogue squadron. or at least until it was too late to appreciate it properly. bugger...
