BTW - why no conquest awards for Space-on rails? I know it's not everyone's cup of Bantha milk, but the rewards for space missions are miserly already.
You get a fair amount of conquest points for the 3 minute entry level PVE space mission.
The problem with those became apparent shortly after the "heroic" space missions came out.
Between people exploiting them, and the general negative backlash from the increase in difficulty...I think the devs pretty much abandoned space PVE

You could do 10-15 Jabiim escort (30-45 minutes) or do CZ198 and a few of the shorter heroics and get your 15k in about the same time frame.

One is WAY more mind-numbingly boring than the other.

I logged in to see how many points a space PVE mission got. last I checked was dbl xp week...so my numbers aren't accurate for "normal" weeks.

With the 10% conquest guild perk and wearing my 7 piece dvl suit (why not?) I am now getting ~650 conquest points for that 3.5 minute space PVE mission.

still a bit faster than MOST heroics...but you'll need to do it 23 times.

Faster to do regular heroics since you'll get bonus missions and rampage(s)

Sounds to me like someone is worried the rarity of conquest items are becoming less rare, therefor driving down the market price. Just a theory.

Nah...there is a pretty good history of the devs implementing something and then deciding it's TOO MUCH and nerfinng it.

I think it's too soon to tell. Need a few more weeks of data.

Also, unlike things in the past, there's no real "cry" on the forums to change things right now.

I’d like some space rails conquest. I often do it when I’m sitting around. I find it relaxing.

I’ve yet to come across this. Would you mind providing more info. ie, what planets and areas so that we may go and see them doing it. Or could you possibly link some proof.

You get a lot of ************ on fleet about this and botting, but i have yet to see any proof (even though we've asked, we get the usual carp, people know this & that, blah, blah). Chances are they are just trolls, jealous, or people who were selling the matts for ridiculous prices, and are pissed off as the prices have come down.

Please look into capping conquest points from only solely kills per week! This will greatly help guilds trying to win planets without competing with unfair kill bots. Other conquest gaining features can remain unchanged as it is harder to exploit them.

Not exactly, The main thing is that the conquest per kills are way too easy to exploit. There is already mats botters out there, macro killing is not that hard 24/7 anyway for those botters. The bottomline is that it is not fair to normal players. Capping conquest points per kills will make it more fair to everyone.

Not sure that is possible because everytime I go afk in my stronghold i get booted out of the game after a few minutes and you get booted out if you go afk if you are in a flashpoint or operation with people and go afk so I don't see how that is possible to go afk for hours and not get booted.

I even talked to a friend of mine, who was known for macros on SWG and he said macros are really not that possible on SWTOR because of the way they have set up the afk booting. We used to call him the Afk macro king on SWG.

To me, it sounds like sour grapes because the devs did this.

Or you know, the GM's could do their jobs and nail the people macroing rather then punishing everyone else.
