I;m sitting here dealing with crappy library wifi today, was messing around with some pathpings and I noticed something:

7 16 ms 15 ms * ae-4-90.edge2.Washington1.Level3.net [4.69.149.206]

8 16 ms 19 ms 13 ms ae-4-90.edge2.Washington1.Level3.net [4.69.149.206]

So how long have we had this loop sitting right above the swtor east coast servers? A quick search of the IP here on the forums shows many of the reported traceroutes and pathpings have this loop.

Maybe that's what the issue is?

It may not be. I work for a webhosting company and every so often we see a client with such a loop but it's usually there's a step or two in between. Comcast's proxies on the west coast are well known for this.
