--Gunner--
i read somwhere theres a limit to the amount of times i can install the game from the disks. is this true? because currently i have to reinstall the game from the website on patch day to get it to work again and the download is stupid long
JaycenLightrider
No, there is no limit. You shouldn't have to reinstall the entire game either. You may need to check with CS as to why that is happening, as it is not what you should have to do.
Cavi
EA does use a DRM similar to what you mention on digital downloads. They use a 5-time install limit. I would think Bioware has circumvented this with their launcher, but it would be nice to get confirmation on that.
faibre
Only reason to put an install limit on software these days is to slow pirating, and pirating an MMO is well pointless. Even still I havent seen that DRM being used ever since people got in a fuss over Spores limit.
