How can you search forums like Developer Tracker or Patch Notes?

I'm trying to look for information related to a specific date that should be in either the Developer Tracker forum or Patch Notes forum but can't find a way to search those two places.

Clicking on Advanced Search doesn't give you the option to search just those two areas. And when I do a general search for something that I know is in those forums, it doesn't come up with the rest of stuff listed in all the other forums. For example, I looked up the word "Skurr" and the only place it comes up is in the Public Test Server forum, but I know it's also in the Developer Tracker forum cause that's where I grabbed the word from originally.

How can we search those forums, Developer Tracker forum or Patch Notes forum, for information?

Patch Notes can be searched using Google’s advanced search: https://www.google.com/advanced_search. The result for Skurr is the Game Update 5.1.3.

The forum data must come from a database, so BW will probably need to provide a means to search it.
Click this SWTOR link to create an account or log in and we both earn rewards (7-day Free Subscription, 1 Free Server Transfer, Free JumpStart or Preferred Bundles).

Unless they actually post the patch notes *in* the forum, no.

You can't do it here, because neither of those is a forum.

The patch notes are pages elsewhere on the SWTOR web site, i.e. not in the forums at all. (Yes, they could have a special forum area that is read-only for us, and post patch notes into it, and that would make them searchable on the forums.)

The Dev Tracker is, in effect, already a search result, but one we can't directly conduct ourselves. The search condition is "All posts by any forum member with the BioWare-staff flag."
