metalblaster
EV normal mode, 8-man. the first couple attempts on the pylons ended with unlimited amounts of ackalays spawning on top of both groups. The only way to avoid this bug was to simply complete the pylons as fast as humanly possible in the prefect order. It was so close that one time we had the north locked and one more button push on south and still wiped.
invizion
That sounds like the most fun bug ever, EV needs a challenge
Ishkur
There is NO bug at the pylons. If you get tons of acklays you are simply TOO slow! If youre terminals stuck and get unusable you are doing it WRONG! It is simple as that.
Ikarus
Yeah they changed so people wouldn't just spam click the pylon controls until they got it right. You gotta get it in the lowest amount of add waves possible or you'll get overrun

The pylons will bug out occasionally even if doing it correctly if the Northern Pylon completes before the Southern pylon. This happened twice with us tonight: North - LL, RR, L, RR to solve. South - RRR, LL, RRR, R to solve. North finished the 3rd solve immediately, and the south couldn't click as soon as the 3rd row was finished on North. Now, if you do get tons of Acklays, it is because you are too slow.

Of coursyou get locked on 3rd wheel cause you did it wrong. Jees...
pure_laced
Explain. The order of colors is Blue, Green, Red, Purple, White, Yellow. We solve our puzzle before we start the encounter so everyone knows the fastest way to solve each row. Doing L, R, R, L for the rows is not the mechanic. The last attempt we solved without bugging was close to this where the southern pylon had the easier time of less turns to solve. But you still miss the most important point of the puzzle. It is a PUZZLE so you can expect something more challenging than turn wheels.

It is a PUZZLE so you can expect something more challenging than turn wheels. Would you mind explaining your point? We did this yesterday, wiped 4 times at the third wheel because 5 Acklays spawned at our Pylons, the controls also didn't get stuck, we ended up just rush clicking them as fast as possible and managed to unlock the chest with 1 person surviving the 10 Acklays by stealthing. If it was a 'puzzle' as you say, why would we be able to solve it by just turning the wheels as fast as humanly possible? This is a bug, it didn't do this before the patch came out and there's NO mention of a change in the patch notes, we've always done the encounter the same way, no changes there. Unless you're somehow privy to dev info, I'd like to hear your explanation. Edited January 19, 2012 by Salacar

Fyurie
Admittedly, the above is what we've done for the past couple of weeks, but even if we're timing out as a result, 3-4 Acklay spawning on each side seems excessive. Hell, they don't even wipe us, but the encounter resets the second they spawn. >.>

Hemotosis
we were doing the hm ev and would finish the second or third and the consoles would go dark in the north.
